Your pretty wrong ghostrider, I don't know what the pay rates were like in 2002, but PWC's contract this year starts at 30500 p.a. which works out to be $635.42 a wk (48 working wk's per year) which in the PWC week of 37.5hrs equates to $16.94.ghostrider said:

yeahh i had PKF and KPMG to go to...but when PwC called...i cancelled the other two...well i went to the PKF info evening for moral support for my mate(and the free food!!) ... then cancelled them.
my process in...well lets just say...i walked out from conquest day a changed man. i had a good day...
i think i cudve been in the interview all day...i dont know what i talked about? but when i was asked "what's goin on in the business world...and how does it affect pwc?"...i jus started talking through the hsc economics syllabus haha and at the end ..."well theres lots of money circulating around at the moment...that's where pwc comes in...so you's must be doin' pretty well ay?"

it worked!I got a Cadetship with KPMG I wasn't going to apply for it, then I chose to and ended up dropping my application off in person the day before they closed. Very glad I did, the cadetships are awesome and can get you ahead very quickly. Plus you're working in the field related to your degree, getting paid for it and are guaranteed a job as a graduate. At least you have a decent income as a Uni student .. sure would beat working at Maccas/Safeway.

Ahh I'm not in Melbourne, I'm at the Albury office lol. I already know 2 of the other guys who got cadetships here, now I want to find out who the other 3 are! We don't all officially meet until our induction starts in January.. so I assume we don't go to that?
