- Identify data, plan, select equipment and perform first-hand investigations to measure the sulfate content of lawn fertiliser and explain the chemistry involved

(conducted a titration experiment at school)

- Analyse information to evaluate the reliability of the results of the above investigation and to propose solutions to problems encountered in the procedure


I'm having problems with the second dot-point. What could cause reliability issues besides the obvious (human error), and how would the problems be solved.

you could mention the accuracy of the solutions used. for example, a supposedly 0.1 mol HCl could have been a 0.18 mol HCl. and so a possible way to test the accuracy is to test using a pH meter.
i haven't really answered that dot point properly...does anyone have any other reasons/solutions?
