Im sure theres a thread on this, but I was wondering, I live in Newie and em eligable for the 5 bonus pts. I got UAI 74.15 and Applied for B/Arts and this year it's 79.00

with my bonus 5pts it should be alright, but .15 lol

Any thoughts?

Its only 4 points. Also, for combined degrees its 0.

Yeah I checked my offers, and it's weird cos I applied for other things and I got the right UAI but didn't get offered places in those courses either.

Ok if it's 4pts that makes sense then.

B Communications at UNE - 70.00, and there are vacancies in that course.

B languages and international business at UNE - 70.00 and there are vacancies there too...

Also, the bonus points applies to Newcastle's entire footprint area.. which is from somewhere near Taree to almost Sydney i think.. so lots of people get the points

same there is no way i wouldnt have got in without my 4 extra uai points...
