This is a cry for help to any-one doing 4u English - or anyone who has done 4u English. I'm STUCK for a concept like you have NO idea.
I started with a critical analysis of the Red Curtain Trilogy, which proved to be tooo massive. So I cut that down to looking at Moulin Rogue on its own - but then it looked like just becoming a technical analysis - not really linked to the whole English thing. I've kind of kept with the Luhrman thing - I now want to look I THINK at advertising as a postmodern medium and how advertisments are mini-feature-films. Namely Lurhmans ass for Chanel no.5. I realised that advertising tends to sell lifestyles as a promise of product which is fine - BUT i dont know how to link it back to english.
Any ideas on how to concrete the link to any English concept?
