i work at maccas and was rostered for today (monday) for an 11pm start, but the shift manager called me up just then (7pm) and said that I'm not working today cos they didn't need me...are they allowed to just do that? I feel jipped...

They're so hypocritical...last time when I said a few days before I couldn't come in cos of external circumstances the store manager went off at me...

Im considering quitting now...they treat me like s***

yeah, i heard from a family friend that they used to always cut short her shifts if they weren't busy...and i think they feel like they can do that cos they've always got ppl wanting to work there

Yes, you should consider quitting.

But you should find another job before you quit ^^

they always all me to cover shifts and need me ion like 10mins..(i live like close to my workplace)
