WAIT WTF i did my trials for eng in wk 8, term 2 and i had THE EXACT SAME QUESTION
did u have like a question for the short response with a picture of a dude with a long nose and a carrot in front of it and it was like "working for the knife" or something cuz if so im so sorry those english questions were awful

unfortunately, we didn't have any pictures at all in our short answers

You could lose a few marks, for me atleast I did, but it depends how good your actual piece. like if you can achieve all the marking criteria that the markers look for and form an engaging piece, it can make up for the marks you lose cos ur writing is short, if not your kinda cooked. Surely you can makeup 200 words on the spot using the stimulus they give you?
wait what if you're doing a poem, when poems are generally shorter than other types of creatives???
