Bishop is a talentless hack, much like the rest of the female Liberal Party members.

But she's not particularly talented is she? Ive always seen her as a bit of a joke, with the "naughty boy" quip to Rudd and stunned mullet response to Chaser
What is "talent" in politics?

She made it to Education Minister under John Howard who had an eye for a good MP, so I think that's enough. But Bishop > Robb > Pyne.

I did enjoy Pyne's self-proclaimed status of political animal, with a political instinct his collegues lack; "I tend to go for the juggular whereas others dont".

So gay.

Liberal president calls on Flegg to step down

sigh. I do hope the state liberals can get their houses in order before the next round of state elections from 2009.

Mal Brough would be good as QLD Liberal Leader. Doubt he'd want the job though.
Nick

Why aren't you contesting the Liberal leadership? I think you'd make a great PM :D

ruddles announces ministry

Gillard takes over education and keeps IR
Crean gets trade
Smith gets foreign affairs
Swan remains treasurer
Garrett retains environment; Penny Wong picks up Climate Change and Water portfolio
Tanner retains finance

To his credit, he didn't elevate the Labor celebrities (McKew, Shorten, Combet), to the ministry straight away.

That sounds incredibly awkward.
Howard: So Kevin... do you like stuff?
Rudd: Yeah, I like stuff... Do you like stuff?
Howard: I like stuff
Janette: So Therese, do you like stuff?
Therese: I like stuff.

Oh come now Justin Simon, my union candidate. That mantra is old now. No-one believed you in the runup to the election, no-one believes you now. Turn your stale lines around to create a viable opposition. Please!

why is union such a dirty word, unions are not the problem, some people in the unions may be a problem, but unions, as a whole, are not. and god help the workers of this country if the unions dissapear

loal, speaking of unions although separate from this one...

CSU SRC has banned clubs from promoting themselves during O week, coz the poor first years get overloaded with information.

the punishment if you're warned more than twice? disbandment and pulling of funds. not a popular move :( damn facists.
