well it looks like i've caved in under all this peer pressure ;)

couple of questions
Ho: that the effects are additive, is this the same as when we test for interaction? and then if our F obs > F and we reject it, does this mean the effects are not additive, ie there's no intereaction

second question, assuming we've concluded no interaction, we have to test which factors are having significant effects right?
in the notes it has those 3 sets of Ho, so itake it those are the parametric tests, and then after it the non-parametric way using comparisons?
so is it worth copying down the 3 sets of H0 (although if we've concluded no interaction 2nd one is pointless i believe) and their tests, and also the non-parametric way?
