Hi,
I'm just wondering what the structure is (units of study) for 1st year commerce, preferable if anyone knows how the commerce is structured when combined with law. I'm very keen to see how many hrs/week and what a possible timetable could be!

Thanks all.

Do you mean, 3 compulsory 1 elec? 2 compulsory 1 elec? (this is for commerce)

The 'normal' semester program for 1st yr com/law students consists of 3 compulsory jr commerce subjects (usually acounting 1a, intro microecon and 'bus & eco statistics A') and 1 law unit ie 'foundations of law'.

In 2nd semester,.
Normally u'd do 'torts' (and leg research which is worth 0 cp) and 3 other compulsory commerce subjects to make up 24 cp. (namely acounting 1b, intro macroecon, and bus info systems foundations).

Thanks/....

How about 2nd year too? Is that, 2 elecs per semester (so 4 in year 2, 4 in year 3)? If so, do all have to be from your major?

in fact, to keep ur double degree status, u need to do at least 1 comm sub and 1 law sub per SEM... u canmake the rest up ur self, as long as u are allow to enrol in the subjects...
