That wouldn't work... at least not for me... my shifts change too often so it would be too hard logistically. I think you can only use your card 5 days a week though... but yeah 'sif AMP is going to be giving up a nice little money spinner like staff parking.

When I asked I was told that they didn't want to make it more lucrative for students who work in the centre to not bother with the uni parking sticker and just park in the centre all the time... but that was from an unofficial...

$4 a day.. but it's taking forever for them to get my paperwork through. Center management is harder to deal with than ATO it seems.... I usually park at the uni and walk across but my dad doesn't like it when I finish late... luckily it never seems to charge me... which is weird.

I work in the centre and when I arrive at 4 and leave at 10 I get it for free... but it seems to work that way some days but not all. I agree with Pwar... go with the $4 at mac centre.

not sure if there's free parking around the place but you can always just casually park in the x carpark given it's one day a week... or you could park in the mac centre carpark cos that's free after 6 pm... Be surprised if they're available before the start of sem especially given the fact it's a new unit... usually the only readers available well before the start of sem are units where the readers stay the same... stats etc... Give it a try end of next week maybe? Wouldn't hold my breath though.

not that this is super relevant, but yeah i had an honours student as a tutor last year... it really surprised me when at the end of the sem he told us he was working on his honours thesis... but that was for a REALLY basic introductory math unit so it worked quite well.

i assume this is for an assignment??? The assignment is hoping for you to do a greater amount of thinking/research than is required for going on a BOS forum. Learn to do your own work or this will be a long few years.

Hey alyssah, Last year, my first year at mac, i had the exact same problem... there were plenty of people that I could nod at, have a chat if i saw them, but no one i was close to... If you think it's "getting too late"... i wouldn't worry about that too much... uni isn't like high school...

I wrote pretty much the same except for for Rad and Onj I wrote that it was unclear whether there was or was not a contract due to the varying authorities on whether or not it acceptable to revoke the acceptance in postal acceptance rule... But i did write that I would tend to say the contract...

My contracts was really sketchy... like... my conclusion seems like it can't possibly be right :S But oh well... it's how you learn i suppose... I actually ended up really enjoying all the presentations! Everyone in my group had fantastic observations and were really funny and really hit it...
