To be honest, those opinions are not very accurate and representative of the college system at all. Especially the 'detached' comment about D&S. If anything, Wright Village is the detached college.

It does get pretty hot at times. I know a fair few people who have fans and they were put to good use last november.

Variable means that the rate will change along with exchange rates. So, as they increase, your rate increases. As for 5.45%, it was that rate a while ago. I'm assuming they forgot to update it.
