    How many marks can you lose for transcription errors in the HSC?

    I was just wondering, how many marks can you lose for small errors like transcription and wrong signs? I can be really careless sometimes, and I lose most of my marks from small mistakes. And yes, I know, I should be more careful, etc, etc. But sometimes I just can't help it...

    I'm aiming for a bachelor of science course next year, but I don't know which uni I should go to. With my marks right now, I should be able to get a UAI of around 80-85. I'm looking at either Sydney, UNSW or Macquarie... I'm also kind of considering University of Queensland or Monash University...
