    As for question 6... To find Q, sub in y=0 into the straight line equation. To find P, solve both equations simultaneously. For part b, draw a vertical line through the P and the x axis so the area is divided in two. Solve the two areas individually and then add them together to get the answer.

    For question 5, you need to solve region A and B separately as definite integrals. Then write them in a fraction to show the ratio of there areas. If you need any more help just let me know.

    Keep or Drop Ext.2?

    Be careful dropping down to 10 units, ext2 will get harder. Doing well in ext2 is only partly due to being 'good' at maths, it requires a lot of time, effect and determination. If you find ext1 easy and only make silly mistakes in 2unit then dropping ext2 and focusing on bringing up your ext1/2u...

    That is only the first equation. You need to include the oxidation of the artefact (eg. iron) and then combine the two to show the production of more H ions. (I use the first equation)
