Reedited Discursive for Trials

As per @graceluvsA's kind and intelligent suggestions I have tried to use their suggestion of a palimpsest metaphor. Let me know if it is too on the nose. Otherwise, if the stimulus is a more picture/object kind of quote, I will use that as the motif but if it more a craft of writing stimulus, i will incorporate it in other ways
