I used to love school.
I really did.
Loved learning too,
until year 12 killed all joy in it.
Now I only show up "cause it's a NESA requirement"
Ticking boxes, filling worksheets until retirement
It's hard to prioritise my mental health
When it's been so far drained
By dreams of uni and talk of "No pain, no gain"
But it SHOULD be possible
To make it through school
Without a mental health diagnosis
Or trip to hospital??
Then how come
Everyone
Is stressed beyond belief
Teachers and students alike, we get no relief
