Why do they make modern so hard. Like history isn’t supposed to be that hard. I knew it was content heavy but I thought it was pretty straight forward in terms of studying

haha nope not straightforward (at least for me) --> 1 of my friends spent 3 hours creating a mindmap just for indochina on how all the dot points interconnect and he didn't even finish

nah eco is certainly not math, because the stats aren't used to calculate anything, it's just memorisation of different indicators

but tbh although eco is also rlly annoying to study for, I would believe if u said that modern's worse

yeah my other friend also does eco and she says that moderns 1000% worse (though that could be bcs she says her eco teacher is actually so good that she doesn't find eco hard bcs the teacher preps them so well)

nah hsie subjects like eco and modern should be pretty easy if youre interested by the subject. But the thing with eco is you can yap like crazy, but as far as i know you cant do that with modern. do modern guys have like a multiple topic in one question?

it makes it easier if you enjoy the subject (bcs I love what we learn in modern) its just theres so much of it and you only get tested on a tiny portion of it which makes it so difficult bcs u need to know all elements of every syllabus dot point rlly well.

modern sounds like SOR where you prepare heaps of evidence for like 6 dot points but only one point is asked...except you guys are preparing for essays and you don't have like two topics where you are almost guaranteed tested on everything plus you don't get multiple choice

what are our predictions for common mod essay question. i feel like they are generally easy compared to other modules, but idk what else in the rubric there is left for them to ask on. like they havent done an anomalies, paradoxes and inconsistencies question but i would hate that!
