I studied my whole adv topic in 1 day. Skipped integration and differentiation :p, got like 86% for trials

Adv is not hard if your not cramming.

mind you all i did was the examples in the focus textbook, so i reckon you can easiily get band 6, if your consistent.
Bro why is everyone making it like it’s so easy to b6 😭

Admittedly scaling DOES help for advanced maths, but it also seems like the BoS populace greatly leans towards math ability compared to other subjects (maybe there’s a correlation between academic tryhard and level of math haha…I say with my 4 units of math)

yes #antienglishscparty. Like literally no one on here likes eng lol. But I'm glad my raw mark of like 46 can scale to a 73. Which honestly is pretty good

English tryhards are too busy reading smut and writing fan fics, to be on here or to spend time doing math

Hot take: I genuinely love English. This is becuase my texts are just good, not nihlistic or just depressing such as T.S Eliot or Sylvia Plath/Ted Hughes.
Common Mod: Vertigo
Mod A: King Richard III and Looking for Richard
Mod B: Unfolding Florence

Guys any tips for my last 2 days of classes and the following 3 days (grad formalities)?
I don’t want to regret how I spend my time this week, while still studying ofc

Ykw based, English itself isn’t that bad and ngl I like my depressing texts - it’s more the way they expect essays to be structured and the themes they want from you, plus the timed conditions - I’d much prefer to be given a week for a project in order to sharpen my thesis and my take on a piece of literature hence why ext was so much more enjoyable for me (I say as I didn’t study for that subject at all)

Imo if you wanna still study only do it if ur not tired so you can fully enjoy like each day as it comes and then lock in on the weekend, and also try to push away the thought of the HSC as best you can and live in the moment !! No time like the present ahaha

I think the year 12s at my school did both those texts lol. They really want us to be depressed. But still how do u like eng. Do u genuinely like writing essays and studying for it
I enjoyed writing my essays as the themes were more happy rather than downright miserable. Take Vertigo, the whole crux of the book is healing after profound loss, and Earth Hour is all about loving the planet/nature, e.ct. Basically, because my texts were obscure/not common by any means, I didn't find myself becoming bored or feel like I'm just writing the same essays with the same ideas. Like I don't know anyone else who is doing unfolding florence.
