And they should shut down.
It only induces an individual to partake in more of these courses such as in Uni (Bachelor of Arts) which is literally a useless degree. Your going to end up being unemployed with other headaches in the future -> All because you wanted to have fun learning pointless thing in your childhood that will get you basically nowhere.

Visual arts and all those creative courses should be limited up until Year 9-10. Your gonna go nowhere with during visual arts especially with the advancement of AI etc

People saying to follow your dreams is such a vague and uncertain statement. Yes follow your dreams but don't choose to do such an obscure thing without learning about its latter implications on you and the future
doing a creative subject in the hsc doesn't necessarily mean the person will want to do this in uni. Like some people takes these subjects out of pure enjoyment and why aren't students allowed to do something they enjoy. Like u can enjoy creative subjects but also do well/enjoy sciences and math and pursue something non creative in uni

Sir. Surely, sir, you do not think that everyone who does art wants a job in art? Or can't be good at anything else? I love art and I do not want to do a bachelor of art, the degree which you have painted as useless. Art is very important in society. Personally, I want to be an ethical hacker, but that does not mean I can't appreciate the art-world. I recommend you reconsider your statement, because as other users have stated, your words are complete blasphemy and anger-inducing, and serve no greater purpose.

Firstly, I don't think you know what a Bachelor of Arts is; it's not limited to creative arts, and secondly, you certainly are not going to have the last laugh living a miserable, cynical life. And just to add, I suggest you do some research, because I think people like Scarlett Johansson, Martin Scorsese, and Lana Del Rey have gotten further with their creative degrees than your attitude will ever be. So when you're watching a film, reading a book, or listening to some music, just stop and remember that the creator is not, in fact, jobless and unemployed, but probably very rich and very content. (Sorry for all the people with sense that this was not targeted at).
Your not going to be Scarlett Johnson or Lana del Rey are you?

You must be delusional if you wake up and think 'I'm going to become the biggest songwriter like Taylor Swift' or 'The biggest vocalist like Ariana Grande'. Yes you can work towards your passion and all but there's no point trying to attain something that a public figure achieved through other means -> possibly unfairly. Who knows

Explain how art is important especially in an AI advancing world? I would like to know how.
Even though you may not think this -> You possibly strayed away from a Bachelor of Arts degree because YOU yourself know that its useless or only provides limited opportunities but I know you will say 'Its not my passion'

All of these people get these extremely high marks but then will probably end up doing the same degree as someone who only got a band 4-5 few years later. Its funny to think about
Sweating your ass off just to do the same course as someone who got in through early entry and whatnot lmao
