In an exam, are we allowed to use that formula straight away or do we have to derive it.

    g-force equation???

Now i know why they do it the way they do. It's because when they derive the equation, they used the reaction force (Reaction = mg) which is equal and opposite to the weight force. Thats why both the acceleration and the weight force are taken in the same direction.

    g-force equation???

Hey guys, My textbook (Jacaranda) says that the equation for g-force is (g+a)/9.8 , but i think it should be (g-a)/g. For example: Take g to be -9.8 ms^-2 (Therefore up is defined as positive) If a rocket is taking off, the net force on the rocket itself will be directed upwards (+ve...

    Question 11 was stupid

"the network upgrade will undergo an evaluation". That means that the network upgrade is already finished when the evaluation starts.

    Question 11 was stupid

I put (A) but alot of people i talked to put (C). I think the evaluation doesn't count. The system is already finished after 7 weeks, and the evalution takes place after it's already been implemented. Also, in the last bullet point about evaluation it already referred to it as "the network...

    equation standards?!?

i dont understand why they do that, i leave the equations in a useful form, so you can just read information off it, like the gradient and y-int for a line. with the way they leave it you have to re-simplify it just so you can get the same information.

    equation standards?!?

hey guys, I know this may sound like a stupid question but are there any rules for how to write equations in your answers. For example in questions that ask for the equation of a line i always write my answer in the form y=mx+b, but in the solutions they seem to have the habit of bringing...

    DFD Help

Hey guys, I'm getting a bit confused with the proper way to do DFD's. I never know where to start or how to split up the main process into smaller processes. Are there any threads or guides that cover DFD's and maybe also example responses to past HSC questions?

    General Thoughts: German Continuers

The multiple choice question was what the title should be. "D" was "______ muss weg" (I can't remember the guys name) For 12 and 13 I did the 50 Euros one and the community service one.

Ways to Guarantee No "Silly Mistakes"

I dont have strict timing for each question but what i try to do is 5,3,2: The first 5 questions in the first hour The next 3 questions in the second hour The last 2 questions in the third hour

Ways to Guarantee No "Silly Mistakes"

When i get my answer I usually think about it for a sec to make sure it makes sense. Alot of people seem to move on to the next question as soon as they get the answer. Like for example in an area under the curve question I usually have a rough guess before I do the question, so that when i get...

    General Thoughts: German Continuers

Hey guys, what did you think of the German Exam yesterday? I thought it was pretty easy, but the listening was longer than expected. Oh, and just to make sure, everybody put "D" for the multiple choice question right?

    HSC Plus bonus points

I have a quick question: Hypothetically, if the cutoff for a course was 90, and one person got 90 with no bonus UAI points and someone else got 86 and 5 bonus UAI points, who would be given priority. I would think that the 86 + 5 person would be given priority because they have chosen HSC...

but what was R-J's law? What was the equation that he had that made the infinite intensity prediction?
