My English rank was different from the one I was told by my school (as I said earlier). So I went to my school this morning to sort it out. I had to fill out all these forms and now they're apparently holding a formal inquiry with BoS to figure out whose mistake it was and what my mark really...

Wow. You're all so smart! I'm scared. My English rank dropped from 11th to 19th (out of 66). I'm going to complain to my school first thing tomorrow morning, because that's a big difference.

I found the paper quite unexpected, but I'd been scared that they'd decide to change it all for us so not completely horrifying. I guess I braced myself for it. I hated the multiple choice though. Randomest questions ever!

It's really awful... I'm not sure of the exact details but it works similarly to provocation. If a gay guy hits on a straight guy, the straight guy is excused for lashing out at him.

The rule of law is exactly as it says in the 2001 question - very simply put, "No one is above the law." It means that governments, politicians and police etc have to obey the same laws as us (theoretically).
