Please accept my apologies mattyz, congratulations on getting 80.5. Remember however that the prediction was based on the trial results. As webby234 said, you must have improved and hence performed better in the HSC. Well done mate, I hope there are no hard feelings. Best of luck in whatever you...
I just want to say congratulations to all of you 06ers. Well done to those who achieved what they desired. For those who aren't feeling too good about their results, don't despair. You might find your UAI is better than what you expected. Even if it isn't, there are still many different pathways...
Ah, to be in year 12. Where one side said English was a subject critical to your very survival, and the other side said they needed it just as much as they needed a pencil through their eye. I'm happy to say that come next year, the vast majority of you will come to see what a waste of time it...
Well guess what, none of you have HSC experience. None of you have studied university mathematics. None of you have read the HSC marks of thousands of HSC students and their subsequent UAIs. You'll get the opportunity to do that in December on this forum. After that time, you will have gained a...
Eusebius, the problem is that it can be hard to predict UAIs over 99. But if you maintain that level of performance, you will get 99+. In my opinion, 99.5+.
Exactly, you're hoping for high band 5's. You would have to perform exceptionally well in order to boost your school marks to high band 5's, but even then you wouldn't be able to get more than 80 with that. You are studying low scaling subjects. If you believe you're working much harder for the...
That seems to have shut 1qaz2wsxokm up.
1qaz2wsxokm, if you are still confused, speak to Lazarus. He can help you to understand. In the meantime, stop telling those who have HSC experience that you know better. You don't. I'm sure those who have studied first year mathematics like numerical...
You'll probably get a UAI between 55 and 60. It's unlikey that you'll get anything higher than 60. Definitely nothing higher than 65. I'm sorry, but there is no chance of getting 80+.
Let me stress that I am not showing off. But you did say the marks speak for themselves. This is what I got:
- Advanced English 81
- Maths Ext One 83
- Maths Ext Two 79
- Physics 93
- Chemistry 91
In terms of scaled marks, English was my lowest. Yet, I still managed to obtain a UAI of 96.60.
I know I did my HSC last year, but I'm curious to see just how many people are planning on, or have already, destroyed their English notes, just like I did after the second English paper last year.
