it should be very possible if you learn music theory and work on your aural skills. Even from nothing its still possible if you put time into it.

I was just wanderign what other institutes are consider good for music? The conversatorium to me seems too conversative with their choice of playing styles so i wanted something a little wider. Also private or otherwise
sorry if this has already been answered (not bothered sifting through all those posts) but what do they look for in the 3 composition pieces that are supposed to be submitted. Music is very subjective of course so i'd like some sort of criteria that they look for
how conservative ('scuse the pun) is the composition course? The performance ones seem to revolve solely around classical music (and jazz of course) which is great and all but i really wanted more contemporary styles aswell
