Stupid police bastards kill four people in high speed chase.

Do you think it's acceptable for people who rob banks to get away with it just because they can drive fast? If I were a career criminal nothing would please me more than to here the news that high speed pursuits had been outlawed.

Stupid police bastards kill four people in high speed chase.

It should be noted that there are many many high speed chases that don't end in quadruple fatalities. They're just not newsworthy. I have nothing but sympathy for the family of those who died, but it's the job of the police to stop scumbags from jacking cars. And high speed pursuits are...

Stupid police bastards kill four people in high speed chase.

No you're missing the point. Implementing some sort of rule that bans high speed chases encourages criminals to drive at increasing speeds. Armed with the knowledge that once they hit a certain limit the police will do nothing, they will try to hit this speed causing arguably more danger...

Stupid police bastards kill four people in high speed chase.

If your car was stolen wouldn't you want the police to recover it? Isn't it in the public's interest to have retards who STEAL CARS apprehended and punished? The police did nothing wrong. Anyone with half a brain knows that: a) You don't steal cars b) You pull over when the police tell...

Stupid police bastards kill four people in high speed chase.

The outrage over this is hilarious. It isn't hard to not jack a car. It isn't hard to pull over when the police tell you to do so. These are easy tasks which the driver of that car couldn't complete. He is to blame, not the police.

    Carbon Tax versus Emissions Trading

Carbon Tax > Emissions Trading: - Far easier and cheaper to implement - Not open to rorting like a trading system would be - Having a stable, predictable price of pollution would be more beneficial to businesses and consumers instead of a floated price which will be subjected to large...

ACST300's crapiness is due to quite a few factors. First of all the content is boring as hell. And there is A LOT of content. Reading pages and pages of insurance and superannuation theory is not pleasant. Second of all the teaching. When I did it we had the following lecturers: Health...

Actuarial Study or Fin/Accounting double Degree?

A few things: 1. BCom (Actuarial Studies) and BCom (Accounting)/BAppFin are two completely different degrees. What is your motivation for doing ACST? 2. You can do Actuarial Studies+Accounting or Actuarial Studies+Finance 3. Your friend is wrong. Actuarial grad jobs get minimum...

    ACST255 Exam Structure

There should be a couple of past papers on e-reserve. Whe I did it (2006), there was a tiny bit of true/false, a few multiple choice and then six long questions asking us to value different liabilities or products. Conceptually the subject is easy. It's just that after you've valued 4 of...

Nice read. This particular case caught my attention: How the hell did he/she think they were not going to get caught?
