mm.. to my knowledge, theyve already asked for inflation and unemployment in the past years since they implemented this course..
so according to my friend's deduction .. they MAy ask how globalisation/macro/micro impacts on external stability~ o.o
its probably the first year it was studied as a text for 'Into the World'.. but i know that the class of '99 studied Educating Rita as well.. so i dont think we get much of an advantage =\
so yea like i said on the other thread, ive finally found some concrete information about biomed eng =)
http://www.usyd.edu.au/fstudent/careers/study/pub/eng2004_03_bespec.pdf
for any other people who were in the same dilemma as me =p its got all the engineering courses offered by usyd...
mm.. perhaps not that big of a deal.. but it does matter =) i'd rather do biomed directly rather than have to do mech and do subjects that may or may not relate to biomed =)
anyways thanks heaps to everyone for their help .. i think ive got it mostly sorted out. You can do an undergrad biomed...
it couldnt be ><""
UNSW doesnt even offer biomed eng as an undergraduate
... it has a 'graduate school of Biomed Eng' ... so im guessing that means you wouldnt have to go near mech eng to do biomed as a graduate course
yea i suppose so =)
does that mean you know something about it??
cuz everything ive read so far has been really vague.
in the UAC, as well as the USYD website it lists biomed eng as Mechanical (biomedical), flipping through the 'directory undergraduate' and USYD's undergrad courses...
There's not a great deal of information on this in the UAC guide.. so does anyone know what it involves?
oh and it says "you are admitted to the international studies progam with no guarantee of entry into a specific major" Has anyone ever been rejected from the major they wanted to do...
lol =p yea i have a habit of always digging up old dirt =D
i was thinking of doing it combined with medical science.. which is offered at usyd
but then according to some people in another thread, i'd hafta do mechanical eng -> biomed (its a stream of mech eng whatever that means) ... and...
so im looking at doing biomed eng at usyd.. and i look at the course description and it says:
"[biomedical eng] is offered as a stream within the Mechanical Engineering degree."
..... can someone explain that to me? does it mean i hafta do mechanical engineering and then specialise in...
