I thought it was a fair exam. It was certainly easier then last year's (if anyone recalls the hard binomial Question 7 in that one - killer).
Probably about 65/84, maybe a max of 80% would be very happy with that:)
Yeh didn't do as well as I wanted to...
Its a good thing though that we all kind of did fairly badly - provides a safety net:)
Anyway all my calculations point to early 80s - so about 100/120

I got the following results across my course:
English (Advanced): 69% (11/27)
Maths 2 Unit: 84% (6/18)
Ext 1 Maths: 52% (5/9)
Biology: 83% (5/7)
Economics: 84% (2/5)
Business Studies: 83%...
Is there a difference between the way the Simpson's Rule is given in 2 unit and Extension 1. Because I am a 3 unit student and find myself getting questions about this wrong in 2 unit papers, the Simpson's Rule as I learned it is as follows:
(1/6)(b-a)(f(a) + 4f((a+b)/2) + f(b))

English - 71%
SDD - 65% (I stuffed it up - but it doesn't matter as I am the only one doing the course so my HSC mark will probably become my final mark)
