I met a guy that was doing IT and Medical Science concurrently. It wasn't a double degree (at least that's what he said and I couldn't be arsed to find out if it was true). However both degrees were at the same uni.

It's been a few years since I've done my HSC, however this was the requirements that I had to meet to get into my double degree. Of course each uni may approach things differently.

You have to get the higher cutoff. For example* Cutoff for Engineering: 85 Cutoff for Commerce: 70 If you get a UAI of 85+ you're in. If you get 70 you can do commerce but not engineering. *not actual numbers, i can't be arsed to research it.

This man speaks the truth. Uni is not high school, nobody will hold your hand and ensure you get through.

The above is true @ UOW too. Except you can do 5 subjects per session without acadamic approval.
