What if I don't recieve a late round offer?! Does that mean I can't go uni at all?!

Do you think I should accept the offer just in case I do not recieve a late round offer?!

I was just wondering, if I accept an offer from a university, but later on, if I recieve a better offer, are there any consequences if I do not attend my initial offer?!
