math standard and math advanced r the same thing bro one just scales ridiculously higher than the other

Cause don’t u kinda need adv content for ext 1 cause the work well together. And no way they would let u do std alongside ext 1 cause u would just be stealing the std kids ranks

well if they want 2 unit math they should let ppl do math standard 1 & math extension 1

no bruh they try to make mx1 and mx2 limited to smart rich students, its a hoax thats why those top private schools get 2000 band 6's every year

they dont want ppl with standard subjects getting a 99+ atar

i think maths advanced has calculus while math standard doesn’t at all so it’s pretty different. i might be wrong tho

Nah the topics they do in adv are much harder. Like we go into functions, logs, calculus and much harder trig stuff which std does not cover

a friend of mine does, he chose e2 too just to fly away from adv

bc u get band 6 in standard and e4 in ex1

you might as well choose adv at that point
