bc if so, and if anyone is doing 'vertigo', how would you relate to it. i can only sustain a paragraph on each one

well the rubric groups all three of them together and they each have a different meaning, so it could be asked all together. you don't necessarily have to do a paragraph on each, maybe try sustaining it throughout your essay if that's what you're asking

no but i can't sustain it throughout my essay bc i base my paragraph on three experiences and they dont relate to all three. but thanks for the answer!

Does anyone so King Henry for Mod B? What do you guys think the extract will be?

I would assume one of the key scenes/speeches, like Hals Machiavellian speech, the play extempore, any of Act 3 Scene 2 because that is key, and maybe one from the battle? Like Falstaff's honour speech? idk but I think it will have to tie into a theme

Just watch one of the performances if you have time, it will probably be quicker than reading the play

there has only been one extract question for Mod B (in 2020), and it was Hal's speech to his father in Act 3, Scene 2 where he claims he would redeem his honour - and it was about the concerns and aesthetic qualities! I doubt there would be an extract for mod b this year but if there is, it'll likely be something related to leadership

Really? I doubt it would be about Hal again. They mentioned something about comedy in a past question which means side characters like Falstaff can also be the centre of the question. I agree with @Snoopy though i think they might put something from the end where there much mention of honour and other values, or the dialogue between Henry and Hal

they could combine aspects of the syllabus still for common mod and just slightly change the question (ie illuminating paradoxes/anomalies/inconsistencies in human behaviour and motivations to challenge assumptions/deepen understanding of the world)

Omg yeah I think once in the hsc in like 2020 or smth they asked for that. Bro that’s specific and I would actually cry. But lowkey in my prelims they kinda asked for something specific but then I twisted my whole essay that was kinda different to make it fit and somehow still did good

you're right lol! I realised they probably wouldn't - that's why I edited my response afterwards and yeah it could be on Hotspur or even Henry... regardless I'm still praying there won't be an extract for mod B
