Hi, Im about to go into year 12 next term and to the people who managed to band 6 in bio, is any advice or strategy you guys can offer? I would be very grateful. For year 11 i've just been taking notes and trying to summarise them and put all my notes into anki and go through flashcards which is working but it is very time consuming and kind of tiring imo, like is there any other way of revising more efficiently besides what i mentioned or do i just have to bite the bullet and push through as there is sm content in bio. Im not doing too badly rn like i would say im middle of the pack but there are a lot of people who are good at bio so im kinda worried about my chances of a b6. thanks!
honestly i was shitty at bio the entire year and trials is where i improved immensely. i recommend having ur notes up to date (which i didnt do, causing me to avoid bio)
bc i didnt have notes upto date i used ones from the internet, but bc u have plenty of time i recommend u make ur own
practice questions are a must! at ur stage u probably only need to do like 1-2 max a week. my jump from barely band 4 to a band 6 in trials is due to my exposure to questions, as i used to avoid them
id say dont stress too much, def do anki as it is very content heavy
edit: bio uses alot of thinking so ur content knowledge will only take u so far. doing questions is the only solution to improving ur application
