Do textbooks cover exactly what the syllabus wants or do they go overboard/miss something? Specifically for sciences 
i have been ‘studying’ (just taking notes bc i dont understand 70% of the stuff) for bio and chem n when i go back to the syllabus to tick off i see that it might have over explained or missed something
also my sister (class of 25) keeps telling me to skip ahead bc they’re not as important but obviously i dont take the risk
