Hey guys does anyone know anything about misadventure. I woke up this morning constantly vomiting and I think it’s gastro and I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to do the English exam tmr but I’m hella worried my misadventure form will get denied. Does anyone know anything about how lenient they are with accepting the misadventure forms or anything like that?

just make sure to get a doctors certificate for every day that you’re sick. better safe than sorry. but also that confuses me bc aren’t you not suppose to go to the doctor if you’re actively sick bc it’s dangerous for them? idk

You are expected to undertake the exam if at all possible. NESA does not sit re-exams. If your IM form is approved, I would still undertake the exam. You mark will be calculated based on either your exam mark OR your moderated internal mark, whichever is HIGHER. So get the form but sit the exam is your best option.

alright thank you I have called the school and also sent my deputy and email, so as long as I go to the doctors tmr I should be ok right? I’m just worried because I’ve been reading online how some people still get denied even if they do get a doctors certificate and I’m really hoping I don’t become one of those people

you can also get online dr certificates like do a telehealth or fill in something online abut your symptoms and its real, i did that for as assessment at half yearlys

dont bash yourself over it... its been a really long year and everyone is feeling this way trust me!! ive been in the same boat and all my friends too. Just go easy on yourself and try to maybe switch up your work environment elsewhere, study with a whiteboard or do your memorisation on a treadmill or while you walk. and remember to take care of your health

no phone, clear goals (realistic) but no time limit but do regularish breaks. do a variety of subjects to keep on task

I have the best and worst timetable, all my exams are one week apart, so I get a lot of time to study, but it means I gotta do the hsc longer than most ppl up till November 8th
