bro I just attempted the 2023 cssa adv maths paper why is that shit so hard... apparently they had a uni professor on the board of writer

it wasn't that bad for me. My school had an average of about 30% for that test and ik many other schools had averages similar. Only thing I would say is the wording for some of them is retarded asf. Sometimes I was getting hella fanum taxed for no reason and I was like erm what the sigma. Ig for adv only students, it was a bit more on the difficult side. Still, I would argue schools like North sydney boys and ruse have much harder papers.

Yea ofc I mean the previous years papers for Catholic were way easier. But since your teacher was the writer for paper, your saying she agreed on having some of those questions? Isn't it that all the writers should agree on EVERY question of the paper? Or do they like just split it and just never review lol.

no my school makes their own trial papers for legal
aaaaa im just hoping for at least a 70% when i get the paper back... it could be possible but idrk. im just relying on early entry atp lol

it's 18th december, probably around 9am for atar iirc, hsc results are usually 6am but sometimes they come out at 3-5am

did you have to jump through hoops to be allowed to do that? or is it something some schools do that mine don't? I'm legit super curious bc I didn't know it was possible to accelerate the way u have

i did year 7 in england and I don't believe accelerating was an option, but I was always rlly good at maths and stuff and I reckon if I knew about accelerating, I would have done it and I wouldn't have ended up in standard maths. that being said one of the reasons I always did bad in my exams up until this point was because of undiagnosed adhd and some other problems so although I was good at the classwork, I was never good at exams and almost always got like a 60 in all my math exams bc I was never able to finish bc I ran out of time. so I reckon if I was diagnosed as a kid and then had my issues resolved like they are now I would have absolutely slayed accelerate maths
