guys chat gpt is scary.

i put data from 2015-2022 about trials and hsc for case study essay (like what topic and subtopic was used each year)
for those who dont know in business:
- there will be two topics (out of 4)(operations, marketing, finance, HR) to choose from for the essay
- the questions will be on a subtopic within these topics

after i put previous data in chatgpt - it said last night it would be a marketing and HR essay on strategies.
guess what!
i open the exam paper - the question is a choice between marketing and HR and its on strategies. like wtf chatgpt

Should I choose ext eng. My subjects are eng ext, mat ext, eco, earth sci, business. I dont really want to do eng ext but only chose it coz i can drop next year and i think it will give me better chance of scoring higher and helping me get int univeristies.

as someone who did ext eng and dropped it at the end of yr 11 (with the expectation of doing so), if you're doing it solely for score it's not worth it in my opinion. if you're a writing prodigy go for it, but even though i consistently scored A range it was still lower than my adv contribution and was ultimately pointless bc of that. it really depends on your circumstances though so don't take my personal experience as if it would be yours - and i am absolutely not a fan of english bc i don't enjoy it so take it with a grain of salt

It depends on whether or not you enjoy english and if you're naturally good at it (or willing to put effort), if the case for you is that you do like it then I reccomend choosing ext english because your writing skills may help with advanced english when you drop it next year.

maybe just memorise your quotes + bits of analysis, worst case scenario jsut write your intro on the spot - u can link toquestion more too

Hi again everyone,
I am back
I have now finished trials
i tried to cancel my overseas holiday but I can't, cause most places won't accept cancelations, and some only give credit
I want to go really bad, so I have decided to miss my PDHPE exam.
all my other exams are fine, as i am still in sydney for them i think
i will just pray nesa gives me an atar for my efforts, but i know some of you said they wont, so I am willing to accept no atar which is sad i think
