oh wtf. Didn't even realisei didnt realise 33d was linked with the other fml

I WAS GONNA DO THAT BUT I GOT LIKE 0.2I think its wrong, they gave u the mean and SD so it has to be something to do with z-scores which the answer didn't include. not to mention the z score is exactly 2, so probs with empirical rule as well. i did it as a conditional probability
ahh, that makes sense. So probably probability of picking someone with 130 iq GIVEN that they finish the puzzle under two hours. Then i'll probably get 1 mark since i calculated the z value.I think its wrong, they gave u the mean and SD so it has to be something to do with z-scores which the answer didn't include. not to mention the z score is exactly 2, so probs with empirical rule as well. i did it as a conditional probability
ok at least ill get 1 mark alsoahh, that makes sense. So probably probability of picking someone with 130 iq GIVEN that they finish the puzzle under two hours. Then i'll probably get 1 mark since i calculated the z value.
that's GOOD. 1 mark can make the difference between band 6 and 5ok at least ill get 1 mark also
i got like 10k or somethingwait im pretty sure Q25 has worked it out incorrectly
they said 8(1000) x 8.2132, but i swear it should just be 1000x8.2132
yeah, you're right.i got like 10k or something
The answer given for q33(d) is incorrect, it is a conditional probability problem as the question asks for P(IQ > 130 given can solve the problem in under 2 h)Sir, can you check question 33? is that right? Aren't they independent events? So shouldn't it just be calculating the z score of z=(130-100)/(15)?
Thanks, i got it nowThe answer given for q33(d) is incorrect, it is a conditional probability problem as the question asks for P(IQ > 130 given can solve the problem in under 2 h)
yep, thisyeah it cant be anything higher than 20000
it should be 8419.81
1000x8.2132 = XYZ
XYZ(1.0125)^2 = 8419.813313
she has only invested 8000, i doubt she could accrue another 60000 lmao
dont jinx it man but at this rate all of q14 will be perms and combscant wait for the 3u exam to be filled with perms and combs
babes im screwed for ext 1 as well...if its like todaydont jinx it man but at this rate all of q14 will be perms and combs
As did I, but I'd like to check it againI got 0.066
PLEASE NOView attachment 33772
I don't know if this was mentioned previously...but as the question asks for height above ground level, shouldn't the answer be 445m (so 345+100 above ground level)?
I think because the equation already has the 100 in it, you don't need to add the 100.View attachment 33772

No. The +100 in the equation y(t) accounts for that. But this question is fk'd up for advanced honestly, it's more of an ext1 questionView attachment 33772

yea projectile motion came in handyNo. The +100 in the equation y(t) accounts for that. But this question is fk'd up for advanced honestly, it's more of an ext1 question
