Hello

Just want to ask the people who do senior science. Is the subject easy? Did you have a tutor for it? Is it easier than physics? I am asking this because I may want to pick up senior science as well as doing physics since my teacher for physics recommend us doing so. Do you guys think it is a good idea?

1. It scales horribly.
2. It's definitely easier than Physics.
3. It most likely won't count over Physics as part of your 10 units - a 79 in Physics outscaled a 90 in Senior Science in the 2011 HSC - you basically do not want it to count.
4. I don't think that a tutor would be necessary since it has the equivalent difficulty of Yr 10 Science - if you're managing Physics without a tutor, then there is absolutely no reason why you would need a Senior Science tutor.
5. There are very few Senior Science tutors.

It's basically up to you if you want to choose a subject that can be severely detrimental to your ATAR as part of your 10 units, or if not part of your 10, 2 almost useless backup units.

you are better off choosing physics+chem or physics+bio if you want to get a 90+ atar as your name alludes to.

So what if I get of 90 for senior science both internally and externally , what mark it will scale up to?

1. Getting 40 /50 for SOR1

2. Getting 90 /100 for senior acience
