Just wondering, for 4 unit, do u need to remember Product-to-Sum Formulas and Sum-to-Product Formulas in trig identities. Thanks

You should at least know how to derive them. :)

They will "guide" you into doing that anyway.

You need to know that they exist, that they're useful in sticky situations and how to derive them.

Don't bother memorising.
