Re: The Official Football Thread

We've got some big games coming up though.

Wigan (A), Chelsea (A), Man City (H), Everton (A).

Looks to be the toughest run-in of the teams looking to secure either 3rd or 4th spot.

Re: The Official Football Thread

lolwut? Didn't even know there was a football thread!

Liverpool v West Brom is about 15 minutes.

Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Maxi, Henderson, Spearing, Kuyt, Carroll and Suarez as our (I'm a Liverpool supporter) starting 11. Going off this line-up Carroll looks like he will have no support this game. Obviously I am hoping for a victory, going off the Everton FA Cup game I think we have a good chance. However, we are Liverpool and you never know with us.

On the plus side, United had a draw. What's the bet City also fucking flop and don't beat Wolves.

and I hope Newcastle come 4th with Chelsea also winning the Champions League thus making Newcastle ineligble for the Champions League, that would be great!
Although, at the same time though I can't say I would really want Torres to experience the glory of winning the Champions League, albeit he has done shit all for them anyway.

But seriously, it would be embarrassing if Everton finish above us, chances are it probably will happen too -.-

another fail by liverpool, their path is similar to my other rivals which are marseille in the french ligue, doing well in the cups but so poor in the league.

Re: The Official Football Thread

Barca gonna smash Chelsea.
Either way I wouldn't mind too much.

Barca winning on aggregate would mean that our chances of qualifying for Europe would remain feasible. That's a big plus for us.

On the flipside, I wouldn't mind if Chelsea won on aggregate and then ended up winning the CL. It would be quite ironic to see them ditch AVB (who they paid 13.3m for) and then see Di Matteo, a failed West Brom manager win it.

Re: The Official Football Thread

Didn't see that coming, especially after Terry's sending off.
