Now of course I am minimising my tax. And if anyone in this country doesn’t minimise their tax they want their heads read. Because as a government, I can tell you you’re not spending it so well that we should be donating extra.

hey do you guys remember when kerry packer dodged his tax by stating that he worked hard for his money and he didnt want to pay taxes??? ahh the good old days.
Wonder if rich people could use the same excuse packer did so that they could dodge paying the carbon tax hrmmmm.
It doesn't really work like that because as an individual you're not being directly taxed. The tax is supposed to put a price on some of the negative externalities of the largest polluters, so as an individual you'd most likely be affected through rising prices. Unless you meant that some of the largest polluters might find ways around this in which they will (i.e. polluting overseas)

yes, i meant the largest polluters..
i know that as an individual it would be impossible to avoid/minimise paying such taxes...companies upping the price of everything because they wouldnt want to incur the taxes themselves.

Ugh, this is fucking Australia, shouldn't have to put up with this bullshit. All I want is to relax, drink a beer and watch the cricket without having to unnecessarily pay more for things, IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR!

CARBON TAX = UN AUSTRALIAN

Well we do live in a country where our glorious government thought the idea of a flood levy (it's not a tax it's a levy11!1!) was a good one.

fine, whatever...he 'minimised his tax burden'
There is nothing illegal about structuring your finances so the parasites in government don't steal more from you than they absolutely have to.

Un Australian is what it is, gillard is fucking lucky most real Aussies are too busy being productive and making a contribution to this nation. So don't have time to fuck around and protest like all those Un Australian uni students who 'occupy Sydney'

McDonalds is a great place to start in the work force as they have a lot of training programs and teamwork and other employers value these.
