i thought i did heaps good in this test. 90+

I wasn't too sure what to do with the flow chart. I used the example of peppered moths, and how the fittest will survive and produce offspring just like it. and with the SOLAR question, i thought it was total internal reflection as well just like a fiblre optic cable, so i just wrote reflection.

the test was easy! but that stupid flowchart was confusing. "processes of natural selection".
i thought they was only three components; variation, inheritance and competition("survival of the fittest")

i thought Z was the womb but other are saying the uterus? Someone help?!?
with the flow chart they wanted you to say and explain the keywords. aswell as linking the effects on a species of organisms.
these key words were variation, inheritence, selection and time.
(selection means the same as competition)

Well, technically the womb is the uterus but uterus is the scientific term of calling the womb so I guess they would be expecting you to write 'uterus' since it's in a science paper. Also the compound that was present in both acids is hydrogen because Sulfuric acid is (H2SO4) and Hydrochloric acid is (HCl). Therefore the common compound is hydrogen as symbolised by the 'H' in both acids.

I would have called hydrogen the common atom in both acids. You could also call it an element but the answer they needed was just hydrogen

for the question choose a theory and show evidence, did anyone else just do the theory of evolution by natural selection??
with evidence being fossils showing changes in simpler organisms/environments to more complex ones.
i thought this would be the most ohvious, also you can write alot of relevent info on this & get top marks.

Lol, for that question, I thought they wanted a different scientific theory other than Darwin/natural selection, since that was the one we had previously done so I put inheritance of acquired characteristics, aka. Lamarckism. My evidence for that was the slow changes in a species as shown in the fossil record of our geological history.
