I hope that's all it is. Idk, I understand having to wait to see results, but it's annoying that something that is meant to help acne can actually make it worse. :(
yess suckss

like i don't have acne, but my skin is nowhere near perfect.
and it's just been doing nothing for it.

I went on Brenda (same as Diane I think) when I was 17 to clear up my face. I don't remember what happened now but I was told it may get worse before it gets better. But all I remember now is that it got better and that was all that mattered to me.

Then last November I went off it and my skin was fine for a month and then I started getting pimples again and it started getting worse and worse. I dunno if that was a result of my body freaking out at the change in hormones or what. :( But anyway, I lasted three months and am back on the pill now. It took like 2 months for my skin to start looking a bit better but it's not completely clear yet. It takes time apparently, and I wouldn't give up on it yet.

Why? I assume you have repeats on your prescription. Just buy a new one and then start it where you left off the other one.

apparently stopping the pill abruptly can do weird things to you, because i was not intending on going back on it because it was for contraception only.

Uh, not really. Why would it? I could only foresee "weirdness" if you're on the triphasic pills, but even then it wouldn't be much.

The only real withdrawal that you will get is after a few days you may get some withdrawal bleeding. If your on it for PMS, you might get some pms...call your doc or phamacist

Yeah I'm kind of worried that if I ever go off the Pill my skin is going to go crazy. I never ever want skin like I had again, ever.

So maybe I'll just never go off it. Adopt some children or acquire lots of cats, or something.

I've been off the pill for 8 weeks now and the two natural periods I have had have been incredibly painful, the current one so bad I have been unable to function and have thrown up from the pain. Needless to say, I want to go back on the pill as my periods were much much better. Do I wait to stop bleeding before I go on, or start immediately? (I'm on day 2 and recall my doctor telling me to start within 4 days of period beginning, but I've misplaced my leaflet.)

TIA!

ok halp?

I've skipped my last 2 periods and I'm part way through this months pill taking and I'm getting light breakthrough bleeding and a little cramping. that's never happened before. Anyone know what I should do? I can't see a doctor before wednesday afternoon so I need to know what I ought to do in the meantime, or if it's normal/not serious?

Spotting is normal when you skip periods. Cramping I dunno... but if it's light then I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I attempted to skip a period on yaz and I've just had crazy spotting all month. It would have been better to just have the damn period. Won't do that again for a while.
