Hi everyone,

I've posted here a few times but those who haven't met me, I'm Vincent Ruan, founder of Zeta Education.

We are opening Yr 12 Mathematics Extension 1 and 2 classes starting Saturday 16th August. This class will be one term ahead of school.

Bit about myself (I feel old every time I type my HSC year):

• 99.50 ATAR (2016)
• 5th in NSW for 2U (2015)
• 98 3U
• 95 4U

I went on do a double degree Actuarial Studies/Commerce at UNSW and graduated in 2021. I was on the Dean's List for Acaedmic Excellence, ranking in the top 3% of the Business School.

For the past 8 years, I've taught over 700 students as the senior/specialist teacher for a maths tutoring centre prominent in Fairfield and Parramatta. I've also trained many generations of upcoming teachers. In that time, my students have achieved 4 state ranks:

• Yuhan Zhou (13th in Mathematics Advanced, 2019)
• Brenda Ta (8th in Mathematics Advanced, 2020)
• Gordon Huang (1st in Mathematics Advanced, 2022)
• Darshan Venkatsan (8th in Mathematics Advanced, 2022)

I know a few of my old students have gone on to do medicine, law and even interned at my full time too (I was very shocked and he didn't know if he should say Sir or Vincent).

I then started Zeta Education in 2024 and this is our second year running

My classes are:

• 2hrs and 15 minutes over Zoom.
• Maximum 8 students per class.
• Detailed theory and homework booklets typed in LaTeX (aiming for 95+).
• Hand selected the best questions from 25 years of HSC and trial papers
• Private discord server for any questions you have.
• The odd joke that gets the pity laughs.
• $75/lesson @ 9 lessons per term.
