Hey fellow students,
I'm taking the entrance test for year 8 2026 Normanhurst Boys High School, and I have a few questions:
1. Numeracy: Is the questions based on the curricular, logical thinking/reasoning, or both?
2. Literacy: What are the types of questions? For example reading comprehension, multiple choice, creative writing
3. Regrading the application, what to include in it, and are personal projects like coding and creative writing good to add in?
4. Any tips for the test?

Following the topic. The test is coming.
Did you send out the application yet? Does your school report actually tell you the grades or it is just general "outstanding" or "high" or "sound"...?

might be late cause the test is probably really soon, and idk if its changed but
1. curricular, just a classic maths test. some questions might be pushing the border of oos/in the syllabus of the years above but year 7 should be fine
2. reading comprehension and creative in the same test
3. you've probably already put it in by now
4. stay calm and treat it like an ordinary topic test
