I have just finished Yr 11 and would appreciate any advice or insights into the following
- what resources you have found useful for Maths Ext- studyguides, tutoring...
- if any of you find Fitzpatrick hard in some instances
- if how you do in yr 11 has any bearing on yr 12 - as my marks in extension have been very unreliable- and how you have minimized careless mistakes and recognized tricks under exam conditions
Thanks a lot

Practice. Practice. Practice. (but leave some of them for the end)
Some Fitzpatrick questions were hard.

Marks in year 11 do not carry over, and as you know, they start counting now.
Careless mistakes will be made ;p, but, it's better not to rush anything and doublecheck as you go if you have the time (personally speaking).

Your maths teacher is the most useful resource, plague him/her with questions

lots and lots of past papers - u learn to recognise tricks & methods.
as for careless mistakes - u can either
1. practise so u don't make them anymore...
2. practise so u can work faster so that at the end u can go over and check over the work.

practice, answer all questions in assessments, be organised so you have plenty of time to study, and in the exam plenty of time to answer all questions

books - i like the excel fast track and excel tips books actually, but they do have a fair few errors

fitzpartick, coroneous and cambridge are supposed to be harder, better questions
