What's the best uni/course to teach visual arts? (1 Viewer)

I'm interested in visual arts and teaching and I want to become a visual arts teacher. I'm just wondering which uni/course would be the best to take. I've researched some Bachelor of Arts and Education courses but some don't have Visual Arts as the major. Maybe I haven't searched properly... but I would appreciate it if you could provide links I live in Western Sydney btw.

Don't be fooled by the name of the degree, in general a Bachelor of Arts has nothing to do with actual art. You want to look for degrees with the word "visual" or "fine" in its name.

Personally, if I were you, I'd be aiming for a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at UNSW/COFA (ATAR cut off of 80.00).

Other alternatives would be a similar course at ACU (that has a cut off of around 60), or you can just do a Bachelor of Fine/Visual Arts at anywhere you can (COFA and SCA would be good choices for this) and do an education degree after you have finished.
