OK I am going to be totally different

I go to Trinity Catholic College Lismore, its a private school, but not selective, and I have no idea how the school is ranked, but our dux's usually get over 99, and there are usually about 80 + marks over 90.
Advanced English: 48/80
History Extension: 12/17
Legal Studies: 10/21
Mathematics Extension 1: 8/16
Mathematics Extension 2: 4/8
Modern History: 13/29
I know my English is bad, and I am working on it, and by the trials I plan to have lifted my legal rank to at 5, modern history to about 8, maths 1 to about 4 and maths 2 to 2 or 3 (all do able).
So on thiose marks what would I be looking at? and if I can raise the other ranks how would I be going. Also, how inportant is English??
