Could the bos actually ask students to make reference to a specific poem for the belonging essay? and what are the chances of that happening?

don't think they will mainly because it will conflict with your related texts

they can set stuff for mod b though

That's right. All I've seen is set texts for Module B (rarely, if ever for the other modules or AOS).

Oh okay great! because I heard there was a possibility of that happening, but was in doubt as the questions are meant to cater for students of all capacities.
