so i had an ear infection that led to temporary severe hearing loss which was causing me massive headaches over the past 3 wks... the medication i was taking for the infection also led me to become extremely sluggish and i got told i had extremely low blood pressure and i probably shldnt move. on top of this, i also got recommended to get a grommet (like ear surgery) for the fluids trapped behind my eardrum by a specialist, which my parents decided was too extreme so i didnt do it.

currently, im basically all recovered except i still get a little dizzy every so often. i know that illness/misadevnture only applies if youre sick on the day of the exam, but is there actually nothing i can do if i make a full recovery by paper 1? this all feels a little unfair like im willing to grab at anything rn... i have documents proving that i had this infection and that i did have hearing loss, is there anything i can do with these documents??? anywhere i can submit them????

yea i think so. notify your school for help. but my teacher always says that the bad thing abt illness/misadventure is that it is not always successful for hsc, and you won't actually know till your results come back

So long as you are still affected during the exam, then you will be eligible for illness/misadventure. Just make sure you actually get to your exam hall and notify your invigilator that you feel ill.
