Setting out an analysis of a related text (1 Viewer)

Got any ideas on how to do this so that it will stay in my head?

I mean what should I look for and that kind of thing, and how do I write about it.

if ur doing a movie.........analyse visual techniques (lighting, music, dialouge, colours) do it in general.......then pick a scene and do it more in depth and use quotes and link it to ur related text..........same as novel but instead u do language techniques and do one section of the novel in depth...........its really hard to explain..........it might be easier if u told us wat ur related texts are and if anyone is familiar with them they could help u........or if theyve already done it they can show ur their analysis.

One related text was going to be the episode of Family Guy: Road to Rhode Island. Another, A novel, I haven't decided on yet.
