I swear ive done an analysis on this somewhere on the forum.. firstly, it is best that you define what an imaginative journey is so that way, others can help you analyse the text under that meaning, nonetheless, heres some starters using http://bau2.uibk.ac.at/sg/poe/works/poetry/raven.html as a guide :)

+First person: allows a personal recounting of an event
+"Once upon a ..." : Gives it a fairy tale opening
+"Ah, distinctly..." : the persona's train of thoughts is in a logical flow
+Repetition: There is so much in there i cant quote it! :p : Emphasises the suspense/context/surroundings/thoughts of the persona
+"Then the bird said, "Nevermore." " : Anthropomorphism - the bird is talking
+The pace of the poem picks up and becomes faster, demonstrating the panic of the persona
+"By that Heaven that bends above us- by that God we both adore- " : biblical allusion -> spirituality and religion
+ There is rhyme within the sentences and the rhyming patter: ABCBBB
